Hot Daikon Onion Apple Salad
4 cups peeled and thinly sliced daikon (white radish)
1 cup thinly sliced mild sweet onion
2 cups peeled and thinly sliced apple
juice of six or more mexican (key) limes
a few or alot of finely crushed dry Pequin peppers
This fresh 100% fat free Vegan recipe is also Gluten-free.
Put all the chopped and sliced ingredients in a large
Mix and then spray and mix again the the juice of
six or more Mexican limes to prevent the browning
of the apples and to give it a strong citrus "kick".
Add salt to taste.
And then sprinkle and mix very finely crushed dry
Pequin peppers; either a very small, light and sparce,
sprinkle for "mild" or alot for extra hot "heat" !!!
It is always best to crush any peppers, either dried or
fresh, with a "molcajete" which is a rough basalt-stone
mortar and pestel.
Wash your hands very well to prevent any pepper
getting in your eyes.
Fresh lime-salt-hot pepper salad delight!!
