Brownie Pudding Cake 1 st mixture: 2 cups flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon salt 4 tablespoons cocoa 1 cup milk 2 teaspoons vanilla 4 tablespoons melted shortening 2 nd mixture: 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 1 cup nuts 1st mixture: Mix dry ingredients well. Stir in milk. Beat well. Add vanilla and melted shortening. Stir well. Pour in floured, greased pan. 2nd mixture: Mix the 2 ingredients together. Pour this mixture on top of first mixture. Pour 1 3/4 Cup boiling water on top of other mixtures. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
